Food Waste 101

Food waste is a huge issue piling up on the world’s dinner plate. Amounting to major environmental, sustainability, and financial losses, Americans throw out 35 million tons of food a year, costing the U.S. around $161 billion annually. While these numbers are startling, they also mean that you, a consumer, can play a huge role in reducing our annual food waste! (Source)
