Organization: Biomuseo

Fundación Amador is a non-profit organization, formed by a group of distinguished members of the Panamanian community whose objective is the development and maintenance of a tropical biodiversity center in the Amador area. It is the organization behind the Biomuseo. Together with the support of the Panamanian government, which provided the concession of a plot of land destined for the construction of the project and with the commercialization of the adjacent lands, Fundación Amador managed to generate the funds so that this beautiful project could become a reality. We also have the scientific support of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, the University of Panama and other scientific institutions in the country (Source).
