An activist is someone who tries to make changes or raise awareness about political or social issues. As Native Americans, we fight for our rights as the first people of this land. Author Aslan Tudor, a citizen of the Lipan Apache in Texas. He was ten years old when he published his first book, Young Water Protectors. Aslan has long hair, which is traditional for boys, and he is a grass dancer, drummer, and actor.
